How to Arrange Event Parking and Transportation on Campus

Arrival to and navigating campus are often the first steps in the University event experience and help set the expectation and mood for event attendees and guests. 

To support your event attendees' access to timely and convenient parking and transportation accommodations, it is critical for you as an event planner to work with Transportation and Parking Services in advance. Depending on your event scope and logistics, additional at-cost services may be required.  

Please do not reach out to our department until your event is approved. Once we receive your request by form, expect a personalized email follow-up to discuss and finalize arrival and parking logistics 

On Campus Parking

Included  

  • General information about how we provide parking for events, including information you can provide to event attendees  

  • Coordination on arrival and parking information for your event  

  • If VIPs (dignitaries, distinguished guests, keynote speakers, world-leaders, etc) are present, Transportation and Parking Services will manage campus access details for proximal parking with Department of Public Safety. 

At additional cost 

  • Parking lot reservation 

  • Support equipment (barricades, cones, sandwich board signs, Variable Message Boards, etc)  

  • Traffic management personnel to restrict and manage traffic flow 

Campus transportation services 

Included 

  •  stops and time details for attendee transport, if parking is not proximal.  

  • Information and support scheduling TigerAccess - a curb-to-curb accessible van service for events during existing service hours - for attendees with mobility accommodation needs 

At additional cost 

  • Designated private shuttle charters (client to work directly with TigerTransit operator)
