Sign Templates

Single Sign Template 

This standard single event sign template measures 11x17 inches. It is best to print on a light weight cardstock which works well in and Event Services issues orange sign holders. When creating a sign use a large enough font size for guests to read at a reasonable difference. Remember to include the name of the event, the date and the location.  

Double Sign Template 

The double sign template is actually two 11x17” single signs that should be taped together lengthwise. It is best to use double signs for directing participants to parking as a larger font would be necessary. Double signs also work well for when you would like to include imagery or logos in addition to text.  

Building Specific Signs 

The Conference and Event Services team has compiled a selection of signs for specific buildings that are either popular or difficult to navigate. Click here for door signs for Hall that will tell visitors which entrance to use as well as signs that are pre-made to direct from Lot 21 to McDonnell Hall. The McDonnell Hall signs can also be altered to direct to , Physics, Fine or Lewis Library.  

Outdoor Sign Holders 

Conference and Event Services has a limited number of outdoor sign holders that we encourage you to borrow for your event. Sign holders should be picked up no sooner than two business days before your event and should be returned the following business day. While there is no cost to borrow signs there is a $100.00 sign for any sign not returned or reported missing after 24 hours or any sign damaged due to negligence.
