Virtual Event Run of Show Template

Managing a virtual event is often the same as managing an in person event. A well thought out run of show document will help keep your event running on time. 

A few virtual event tips

  • Create a shared Google document or Microsoft Teams document that all participants can see. Use that document to communicate to requests to speakers such as adjusting their screen or fixing their microphone. 
  • Use your team! Ask colleagues to manage behind the scenes tasks such as moderating the chat feature or compiling questions for the Q&A session.
  • Send a follow up email. If you are using a chat feature, compile any resources or information that was shared in the chat and add it to a follow up email after the event is over.
